Treasury discount papers are money market securities.

New issues normally come in maturities from three to twelve months and issued with a zero cupon.

Treasury discount papers issued by the following governments are tradable on Eurex Bonds

  • Belgium (BGTB)
  • France (BTF)
  • Germany (Bubill)
  • Italy (BOT)
  • Netherlands (DTC)
  • Spain (SGLT)

with an outstanding volume of at least EUR 1 billion.

Strips are the coupon components of a stripped bond, that has had its main components broken up into a zero-coupon bond and a series of coupons.

Strips issued by the following governments are tradable on Eurex Bonds

  • Belgium (BGB STRIP)
